Stepping in Time is fun
Stepping in Time is healthy
Stepping in Time is energizing
It is a "win win" situation. After raising four children,
who have all nearly completed undergrad college studies, as well
as upgrading my own degree in nursing just six years ago,
I decided it was time to do something fun and healthy.
Dancing was the answer. I started out with ballroom
and swing dancing for "fun" and the bonus is...I have
met special people that have all made a difference in my life.
Besides dancing I work full time as an OB/GYN Registered Nurse
at EMMC and assist new moms (and dads too) caring for newborns.
I also find time to visit my young adult children who all keep me
"young" in spirit. I enjoy spending quality time with family and
friends with walks, conversation or board games. In addition, I find
time to dabble with photography and walk 3-4 miles several
times a week.  Stepping in Time also keeps my mind
sharp and balances my whole life.
Besides dancing, Monica is the dance
team's photographer

Priscilla Slagger

I am a Maine native and the mother of two beautiful sons, Craig and Eric.
I have earned my Masters Degree as a Geriatric Social Worker
from UMaine and am employed as a Senior Resident Services Coordinator
for the Bangor House.  It is my passion to improve the
quality of life of those around me.  I recently discovered a new
passion of clogging during one of my intern placements.
I am honored to be a part of such a highly
energized and especially talented group of women.
My husband, David, has been a wonderful support
in all that I do and he volunteers his time to assist the
Step In Time Cloggers when the need arises.  In my spare
time I enjoy walking with nature, canoeing and camping,
and reading educational material.

A native of Bangor, Liz’s two passions in life besides her family are Dancing and Professional Speaking.  Fortunately, she does one for her vocation and the other for fun.  Polly Thomas School of Dance led to her stage debut at age 7.  Beginning in 1974 she danced in every EMMC follies and has performed in several Bangor Community Theater Musicals. In the late 1970’s she gave Disco lessons at the Bounty Tavern and competed in disco competitions. Her last contest (1979) was when she was 7 months pregnant with son Shane.  She began clogging in 1992 and performed for many years with the (now disbanded) Rainbow Cloggers. After a 10 year clogging hiatus, she is excited to be tapping those toes and heels again. Professionally Liz is Director of Training for Affiliated Healthcare Systems. For over 30 years she has presented seminars, workshops and keynote speeches to organizations and associations at the state, regional and national level.  Liz received her Master of Education and Bachelor degrees at the University of Maine. Liz collects antiques and enjoys photography, metal detecting, kayaking, skiing, and boating with her family and friends.  She lives in Bangor with her husband of 30 years, Steve.
